Jimbaran

Jimbaran… that’s the name of the new restaurant that has just opened in Medan and is worth trying….. It is located just beside the Traders Restaurants, the popular hangout for expatriates. The atmosphere is nice but be warn that there is no air condition and even Fan is no where to be seen too! and mosquitos are all over the place if you choose to dine at night so may be you can bring along the repellant spray. And I supposed the lemon grass stalk that came with the squash drink is to act as the mosquitoes repellant but really, it doesn’t work that way. As for the food, its not too bad, its mostly barbequed seafood, you choose what you want at the fresh/live seafood section and they will cook it in whatever way you like. Although its not something new, but you are sure that the seafood is FRESH. Its something for a change instead of having the usual local food nasi goreng, or the not so juicy steak. It has that relax Bali setting and a place to go with a group of family and friends. Give it a try…the service is exception.
