Holidays Break
Every year, my family will take two long family holidays, one in the June and the other in December… of which we will do the beach holiday in June (hotel rates are cheaper) and an adventure trip in December… and as for this year, we can finally take our two boys to Hong Kong Disneyland as my youngest son who are now 3 years old, are totally crazy over Mickey Mouse and the gang so we thought the timing is right….
For this trip I manage to get a good price for the package through Cathay Pacific airline and I arrange everything through them and pay online… so that was really convenient.. I could easily book through the local travel agent in Medan but I often get very expensive quote once they know that I am not a local and sometimes it takes them days just to get me the hotel rate… to come think of it, I hardly use the travel agent for my holidays booking anymore as I often find a better rate through the Internet… for example, www.phuket.com offers really good rate for hotels around Thailand, www.hk-hotel.com is good if you are looking for hotels in HongKong.
