GreenHill @ Sibolangit
Today my husband drag me along to GreenHill @ Sibolangit to look at the new development of the area… its about 1 hr drive from central Medan and on the same direction to Brastagi…. which is not too far…
This new development consists of a theme park similar to Mickey holidays but slightly better… then there are the holidays homes where 80% have already been sold….

this is the largest unit in size… the house itself is about 155m2 while the total land area depends on the one you choose…. its really small to be honest… avg costs about Rp 700 jt

and this is one of the unit that I like… its right at the back but you have this gorgeous private view…. as the back of the house has an empty piece of land… so.. imagine an infinity pool… *wow*… a perfect escape from Medan…

thats the main entrance to the theme park which they aim to open in 2 months times…. its ok but I personally think that since they still have big piece of land… they should consider an adventure park that include things like rock climbing, flying fox, ATV etc…

very colourful… mainly for very young kids

I love this tree house…. its really cute

the lost city…. at least the park has a theme….

as usual… Medan cannot live without an Amazon… it will be in this little castle…. an ex gambling den…. hahahh… funny though… it operates the same way…. only that its Rp 2000 each bet for now….
so… 2 more months and our kids will have an additional place to hang out…. at least its one where we make it as a day trip….

the place is opened now (only for the weekends) .. the entrance fees (door fees) is about Rp30000 per person, but you will need to pay extra for all the rides ranging from Rp 10.000 to Rp 25.000.
I would suggest you arrive early and spend the afternoon at the park, then take another hour ride up to Brastagi and stay overnight at one of the cottage at Sinabung Hotel.. enjoy the fresh air and see the Volcano.
Alternatively, arrange for a tour to Lake Toba which is about 4 hours drive away..
Do try seafood at Jimbaran Restaurant and Ikan Goreng Ciantur for different types of Indonesian food..
