Feng Shui maniac
It runs in the Thai culture…. believing in Feng shui, astrology, deep praying etc… since young, I was brought up around these belief… i didn’t like it or believed in it… reasons are simply that each feng shui master said different things and there is no theory or story to support it… although I enjoy having my star sign read by fortune teller…. i have seen many and all said different things and I guess it was just the fun of wanting and testing the fortune teller if he/she is right or wrong……
it was not until I came across this Malaysian lady name Lillian Too ( many of you may have heard of her) that i began to research and learn and have deep understanding of Feng Shui….. its been 5 years now and i am totally obsessed with it… so much so that my in-laws and my own parents think that i am nuts…. i go to the website www.wofs.com to read my daily horoscope and I have my monthly reading which i will use as a guide on what i should do and what to avoid….. 8 out of 10 times, its spot on….
and now… 5 fortune tellers said that I will have a major move of house within the next 1-2 years….. on the bright side, I may finally be out of Medan…hehehe….. on the dark side, I may have to move in with my in-laws…. hahah…

Personally I believe that there’s truth behind Feng Shui but do not follow any master’s teachings for lack of sound theory as you mentioned.
The world around us is composed of energy and consciousness. More and more scientific proof around that have surfaced during the past few decades. They even made a movie documentary about it titled, “What the bleep do we (k)now!?”
I believe that Feng Shui is a way of using and manipulating these energy to be more in harmony with us. What the masters are doing is tweaking the elements according to their own subjective styles and methods.
As for astrology, I believe it is science but a long way from perfection.
Another method that appeared during the last decade is fingerprint test through dermatoglyphics. It is a 300 year old science that studies the epidermal ridges of our fingers, palm n soles and their relationship with our DNA. Not to be confused with palmistry.
As far as brain developments is concerned, what we are able to do at this point is measure inborn tendencies such as our learning style, left/right brain balance, multiple intelligence, thinking pattern, sub-conscious drive, etc.
The amazing part is that since fingerprints are fully formed before we are born, we are able to find out all those information in children as young as 1 or 2 year old.
