Medan Kota

In the last 3 years, much have changed in Medan especially Shopping Malls that have started to developed here, making life in Medan a little more pleasant stay.  Nevertheless, doing supermarket shopping is never a good experience for me.  First, there are the few hypermarkets like Carrefour, Hypermart and Brastagi (ex Clubstore) and there is the local leading supermarket – Macan Yaohan.  Personally, I enjoyed the Macan Yaohan Merek Jingga branch for its convenient and the low price and I have come to notice that my total purchased is so much lower compared to other places as there is less impulse purchase.  Although I do have to admit that the deco and surrounding is not that so great.  As for Carrefour, it can be overcrowded and shoppers there often cut my queue and are not so polite.  I never really shop at Hypermart coz it is located in the shopping mall like Sun Plaza and Palladium which is really inconvenient.  Brastagi is my next choice for fresh products if you are not a fan of the wet market, but if you need to get the cheese and the imported goods, I will rather go to Mr Ben as prices there are much cheaper.  So now you can see that there is no one place where you can go to complete your shopping in a single trip.
